Heather comes to us from California, but she has settled quite nicely as a Texas girl. She loves to travel and can't live without her Lululemon leggings... Where are you from originally:  That's a hard question! I’ve lived quite a few places, but most recently California. That’s where I spent the last six years

Why do you love the Megaformer and the Lagree Method: I love the way it works my whole body without being too hard on my joints. I always leave class feeling great without being completely depleted. 

What brought you to Studio 6: Before I even lived in Dallas I would come take classes at Studio 6. I love the studio and all of the instructors, I’m so lucky to be part of the Studio 6 family now! 

What is your favorite Megaformer move: Anything obliques! I love all giant oblique moves but I think my favorite is giant corkscrew. 

Three things I cannot live without:  Lululemon leggings! Coffee! And sunshine! I love being outside 

My favorite post workout snack: Usually something with almond butter! 

My dream vacation: Bora bora!

My favorite thing to do when I am not at Studio 6: I love to be outside and I love to travel. I’m always looking for an excuse to get away even if it’s just for a few days and explore new places.

Three words to describe you: easy going, kind, disciplined 

Personal pet peeve: it makes me crazy when people are like “oh pilates, it’s like Yoga right?” Other than that not much bothers me!

Something people may not know about me: I had no plans of getting into the Fitness industry. I have always loved to workout but never imagined I would be teaching and now it’s my full time job! 

My personal fitness advice: Consistency! It all boils down to consistency. Whatever you’re doing just be consistent about it. I’m a big believer in doing exactly what works for you. Find what you like and just do it. Don’t do whatever diet or workout just because everyone is doing it. Try things and figure out what you need. Everybody is different and that’s okay.
