Ana Matsumoto

Ana is what you could call a barre fanatic. With expertise in barre, fitness and dance, she uses her well rounded background to create the perfect barre workout that is challenging yet fun at the same time. AnaŹ¼s passion for fitness started at childhood when she committed to dancing. Her commitment to dance eventually grew to her joining a professional dance company in Houston TX. From 18-21 years of age, Ana enjoyed touring and dancing around the world. After 3 years in the professional dance world, she decided to pursue fitness as a career. Ana studied Kinesiology at the University of North Texas, then moved to Dallas were she continued her barre teaching. Aside from barre, Ana also enjoys her new found passion, the Megaformer!

Heather Plassman

Heather stumbled into her first Lagree class while living in LA and has been hooked ever since! After taking classes religiously and moving to Dallas she decided to pursue the training program to spread her love for Lagree. She has been Lagree certified and teaching the method since 2016. When not on the Megaformer, Heather loves yoga, traveling and being outdoors. With a wide variety of music and quick transitions, Heather's classes will challenge you and keep you coming back for more!

Madeleine Fontes

Madeleine is originally from England, but thinks of Texas as her true home now. She rode horses when younger and then became an avid runner, like a lot of people, injuries put an end to that activity. Boredom in gym workouts lead her to her first taste of pilates in 2011, but it wasn't until she joined Studio 6 Fitness in 2017 that she saw real results in both her physical stamina, energy and appearance. She loved the combination of full body workouts combined with strong encouragement and challenges. It became a passion from day one and has never waned. Madeleine believes Studio 6 Fitness is suitable for all ages and fitness levels and hopes to encourage clients to build on challenges one day at a time, and for them to discover with excitement how much they have achieved.

Kerry McStay

Kerry is a known fitness enthusiast and loyal client since meeting Sebastien Lagree and training with him in 2012 at Studio 6.  Self motivated and dedicated to fitness, Kerry was an avid runner, tennis player and kick boxer for years.  Due to overuse and her extreme high impact work-outs, Kerry developed a knee injury and her sports physical therapist recommended Pilates as part of her rehabilitation to build strength.   She is constantly challenging herself to elevate her fitness level while protecting her joints, which reinforces her passion for Lagree Megaformer workouts at Studio 6.  When she’s not training, you can find her with her family (husband Judge, also a Studio 6 client, and two sons Dutch & Cash), on the tennis court, pursuing entrepreneurial interests and enjoying time with friends.  You can always count on a challenging and intense workout when you sign up with Kerry.   

Tom Edgar

Tom’s been teaching software for over 20 years. After decades of sitting behind a computer screen with zero physical activity, Tom had his fitness awakening in 2014. As a late bloomer, once he started moving, he quickly dropped 40 pounds and has been an avid fitness enthusiast ever since. With long walks, daily cardio, and weights, he transformed himself in his 50s! Yoga turned out to be something Tom excelled at and within a year, found himself being asked to be a substitute instructor. Helping fellow yogis through tough routines and hit the poses with correct form, he found helping students reach physical goals as rewarding as communicating tough ideas to students in the classroom. In 2016, Tom discovered the Megaformer™ and was immediately addicted. Yoga got pushed way back so there was more time to focus on the Megaformer and the Lagree method. He could not be more enthusiastic about becoming a Studio 6 Instructor!

When Tom isn't coaching on the Megaformer, he can be found taking as many Studio 6 Megaformer classes as he can fit into his schedule.

Catherine Harris

Catherine is a Dallas native whose original fitness passion was running. She discovered group fitness after a series of injuries caused her to seek out low-impact exercise options. While she continues to enjoy a wide variety of group fitness classes, she was so smitten with Studio 6 and the Lagree method that she decided to become an instructor!

Catherine works in the mental health field and has always been fascinated by the powerful effect of exercise on mood and well-being. She strives to offer fun and challenging classes that strengthen the body as well as the spirit.

In her free time, Catherine enjoys traveling, honing her Spanish skills, reading, and spending time with her husband Chance and two pups, Jack Bauer and Maeby Funke.

Kalyn Potter

Kalyn is a yogi with a passion for hardcore workouts. Her captive interest in the fitness industry and love of movement led her to pursue a degree in Health and Wellness from TCU. Shortly after graduating she landed in Dallas to become a personal trainer. Since then, she has fallen in love with the practice and mindfulness of yoga and has been teaching since 2014. She continued to grow her body of knowledge by adding a Masters in Nutrition and most recently, learning the science behind the Lagree method! Her newfound passion for the Megaformer at Studio 6 Fitness has given her the strength necessary to further amplify her yoga practice and other fitness pursuits. Her favorite Megaformer exercise is the Side Kick due to it’s strength training and endurance building benefits. Outside of the fitness and wellness world, Kalyn loves to travel with a goal of visiting 2 new countries per year!

Amy Teter

Amy has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Instructor and a Teacher Trainer for Pilates Academy International. Amy also holds certifications in Core Barre, TRX, Core Suspend and Active Isolated Stretching. Last December Amy started splitting her time between Charleston, WV (where she owns Centered—a Pilates, Barre and Suspension Training studio) and Dallas. After her very first class at Studio 6, Amy knew that Lagree was the missing element in her personal fitness journey. She is thrilled to join the Studio 6 Fitness team and bring her focus on form and fun to all. The only thing Amy loves more than teaching is spending time with her 7-year old son.

Jason Mitchell

Sports and fitness have been integral part of Jason’s life, from an early age he was a competitive swimmer and parlayed that into 6 years of being a certified swim instructor and lifeguard, throughout high school and college. He grew up in New Mexico and during the winters was also a snow ski instructor. During college he began an avid running career, averaging 20 - 30 miles a week, progressing to half marathons, then on to competing in triathlons. As a remedy for the aches, pains, and tightness that was associated with running and triathlon training, he started an aggressive yoga practice A broken femur ended his running and triathlon career. His personal trainer introduced him to Studio 6 as a rehab and pre-hab, preventing injury, during of their intensive HIIT training program and he has been hooked ever since. In his word, ‘The Megaformer is exactly what I needed, intensity without injury."

Mega ABS & ARMS is a one-of-a-kind specialty class that is unlike any other.  Specifically designed to target you from the waist up, with advanced moves and super setting. This "lunge-free" zone will tighten, sculpt and tone your center core, obliques, arms, chest and back on our state of the art Megaformer™.  Previous Megaformer™ experience strongly recommended.  50-minutes.
