Shelby Sullivan

Born and raised in Dallas, Shelby has always been an athlete.  She played every sport growing up before focusing solely on volleyball.  She went on to play at Texas A&M University where she graduated from the PPA program with her Masters in Financial Management.  In 2018 she played volleyball professionally in Switzerland and the Philippines.  After her first class at Studio6, she was instantly hooked.  As an athlete with a passion of health and fitness she loves how challenging and fun the workout is.  She is excited to share this love and encourage clients to reach their goals! 

Michele McDonough

A Houston native and University of Texas graduate, Michele’s desire to become an instructor began first as an avid client. Michele took her first Megaformer class in 2014, six weeks after her 3rd child was born and was immediately hooked. Within her first few Lagree Fitness classes, she noticed the drastic changes it had on her body were unlike those from any other workout she had done. As a devoted practitioner and believer in this style of fitness, she was motivated to share her experiences, become an advocate and pursue instructing. In her free time Michele loves hanging out with her three children & husband, travel, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with friends.

Ana Matsumoto

Ana is what you could call a barre fanatic. With expertise in barre, fitness and dance, she uses her well rounded background to create the perfect barre workout that is challenging yet fun at the same time. Anaʼs passion for fitness started at childhood when she committed to dancing. Her commitment to dance eventually grew to her joining a professional dance company in Houston TX. From 18-21 years of age, Ana enjoyed touring and dancing around the world. After 3 years in the professional dance world, she decided to pursue fitness as a career. Ana studied Kinesiology at the University of North Texas, then moved to Dallas were she continued her barre teaching. Aside from barre, Ana also enjoys her new found passion, the Megaformer!

Jasmine Mohammad

A Dallas native, Jasmine took her first Lagree class while earning her degree in Exercise Science from the University of Texas. She was instantly hooked and soon enough the Megaformer became her favorite study break. She loves how the workout challenges you both physically and mentally and wants to share this love with others. Growing up, Jasmine was a competitive volleyball player, competing at a national level. Jasmine is currently pursuing a career in Physical Therapy and loves to incorporate injury prevention in all of her classes. Outside of the studio she can be found playing with her nieces and nephew, discovering new restaurants, or re-watching episodes of Friends. 

Kerry McStay

Kerry is a known fitness enthusiast and loyal client since meeting Sebastien Lagree and training with him in 2012 at Studio 6.  Self motivated and dedicated to fitness, Kerry was an avid runner, tennis player and kick boxer for years.  Due to overuse and her extreme high impact work-outs, Kerry developed a knee injury and her sports physical therapist recommended Pilates as part of her rehabilitation to build strength.   She is constantly challenging herself to elevate her fitness level while protecting her joints, which reinforces her passion for Lagree Megaformer workouts at Studio 6.  When she’s not training, you can find her with her family (husband Judge, also a Studio 6 client, and two sons Dutch & Cash), on the tennis court, pursuing entrepreneurial interests and enjoying time with friends.  You can always count on a challenging and intense workout when you sign up with Kerry.   

Deirdre Deignan

Deirdre has over 20 years of experience in healthcare and fitness, and is a firm believer in Pilates based exercises, becoming first certified in 2003 while working as a Physical Therapist in London, England. There she saw the benefits of core stabilization exercises in all ages and in all types of people. She loved seeing her clients achieve their goal and reach their potential from working these key muscle groups. Deirdre first jumped on a Megaformer at Studio 6 in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the Lagree workout and principles of Studio 6. When not working out or teaching at Studio 6, Deirdre is kept busy with her two hockey-loving sons, working as a Physical Therapist and traveling with her family.

Heather Plassman

Heather stumbled into her first Lagree class while living in LA and has been hooked ever since! After taking classes religiously and moving to Dallas she decided to pursue the training program to spread her love for Lagree. She has been Lagree certified and teaching the method since 2016. When not on the Megaformer, Heather loves yoga, traveling and being outdoors. With a wide variety of music and quick transitions, Heather's classes will challenge you and keep you coming back for more!

Marta Ascenzo

A competitive tennis player ranked as high as #1 in junior tennis in Canada, Marta has always committed herself to a high level of fitness. After graduating from the University of Virginia on a tennis scholarship, she worked in finance before following her passion for health and wellness. Marta has been an exercise instructor teaching a variety of formats for the past decade, but she recently fell in love with Lagree after tearing her ACL playing tennis. Lagree offered the low impact but high intensity workout she needed for cross training and a quick recovery. Marta's class will leave you feeling challenged, uplifted, and dripping with sweat. She will push you, and you will still leave wanting more!

Risa Woodward

Growing up in West Texas, Risa has always been an avid fitness and outdoors enthusiast. She participated in sports throughout her childhood playing competitive tennis up through high school where she obtained a state "super champ" rating. Risa took her first Megaformer class in 2011 and was immediately hooked onto Pilates and Lagree Fitness. Within her first few classes she noticed the positive changes it had on her body were unlike any other workout she had done. An avid client and believer in the workout, she was motivated to share her experiences with others and pursued instructing. In 2013, Risa earned her Pilates certification through Peak Pilates and was trained and certified in Lagree Fitness under Sebastian Lagree.
As a client turned instructor, Risa uses her experiences to motivate and inspire her clients to dig deeper, push harder and have fun to make the most of their 50 minutes. She hopes you will leave her class feeling strong, energized and smiling! When not instructing, Risa can be found with her two children, riding her horse, on the tennis court, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with friends.

Madeleine Fontes

Madeleine is originally from England, but thinks of Texas as her true home now. She rode horses when younger and then became an avid runner, like a lot of people, injuries put an end to that activity. Boredom in gym workouts lead her to her first taste of pilates in 2011, but it wasn't until she joined Studio 6 Fitness in 2017 that she saw real results in both her physical stamina, energy and appearance. She loved the combination of full body workouts combined with strong encouragement and challenges. It became a passion from day one and has never waned. Madeleine believes Studio 6 Fitness is suitable for all ages and fitness levels and hopes to encourage clients to build on challenges one day at a time, and for them to discover with excitement how much they have achieved.

Michael Basinger

Michael hails from Rockwall, Texas. He grew up around his family's restaurant business and started working there in the 7th grade, where he developed a passion for all kinds of cuisine (dangerous passion!). Fortunately, he also has a love of physical fitness and clean eating (most of the time). A devoted foodie and running addict you’ll frequently find him running by White Rock Lake or taking on another half marathon. He was overwhelmed when he was introduced to Lagree through his sister who lives and teaches the method in Los Angeles. He was thrilled to discover that he had a Lagree studio in his own backyard at Studio 6 Fitness. He loves the many different challenges always offered in class and is determined to instill that same love in his clients. Michael’s favorite move is Cobra. 

Jade Thurman

A Dallas native with Californian roots, Jade’s love for Lagree Fitness and the Megaformer was instant! Juggling her career as an elementary school teacher, son, and life itself, finding time to exercise became a thing of the past until she walked into Studio 6 Fitness, summer of 2017.
After taking her first class, she knew she had to make time for her new-found love and passion to prioritize her health in her weekly routine. Over the course of the next year, she began to take classes and started exercising again, finding her stride and happy place. As she began her fitness journey, she started to notice the fast changes her body began to make and wanted to share this with everyone she knew. The more she introduced the Lagree Method to her family and friends, the more she desired to pursue it as a career. As she still inspires the minds of young students, she is also wanting to inspire the minds of everyone who walks into her classes. She hopes her clients leave each class feeling stronger, happier, and more motivated than when they entered! In her free time, Jade loves to spend time with her son, travel, and take spin classes. She also loves a good brunch on Sunday and spending time with friends.

Sydney Schmidt

Growing up in East Texas, Sydney participated in everything from gymnastics and cheerleading to basketball before leaving for the big city to pursue a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston. While in Houston, Sydney took her first group fitness class and was hooked. This lead her to becoming a certified yoga teacher. When she moved to Dallas and discovered Studio 6 Fitness, she immediately fell in love with the workout and saw the many benefits and improvements it added to her yoga practice. When not at the studio, you can find her on her yoga mat, riding bikes with her husband, Matthew, and playing with her two pups, Bubba and Riley!
Our signature class utilizes the patented Megaformer™ to provide a total body, high-octane, muscle quivering workout that melds cardio, strength training and Pilates. You will gain endurance, improve flexibility and strengthen and tone your body in ways traditional exercises cannot. High-energy music carries you through the heart-pumping workout with results you’ll see and feel in 50 min.
