Trainer Spotlight: Meet Ana

Ana is one of our most popular trainers at Studio 6 Fitness because of her ability to motivate her clients to work harder in her MegaBarre, MegaPilates and Buns & Guns classes. Ana's been in the fitness industry for four years and loves how the Megaformer amplifies even the most basic moves, making them 10x harder! Q&A with Ana
Where did you grow up: Huntsville TX
What is your favorite part of being an instructor: motivating clients and seeing them push themselves harder in my class. Love to know I can help them work their hardest!
Why do you love the Megaformer: I love how the megaformer makes you use muscles you never knew you had. Also it makes simple ab exercises seem 10 times harder.
Favorite Megamove: My favorite lagree move would have to be 5th lunge. I'm always up for a challenge but 5th lunge takes it to the next level. I especially have a hard time feeling my hamstrings and in that lunge your hammies scream!

What three things can’t you live without: Working out, my XS sugar free energy drinks, and Lululemon
How long have you been in the fitness industry: Four years teaching
Favorite post-workout snack: apple and XS energy recharge bar or hummus and celery
Biggest pet peeve: Rude people

Favorite thing to do when you’re not teaching: Workout with my hubby
Three words to describe you: Creative, athletic, enthusiastic!
Unusual child memory: I remember dropping my ice cream cone on a gravel road and my sister still telling me to eat it. She said, "it's okay, it's rocky road ice cream." I remember eating rocks! Haha, thanks sis.
Personal fitness secret: Eat lots of protein! The more protein you eat ladies, the leaner you get. It won't cause you to get bulky, and you'll burn more carbs and fat and maintain muscle. I try to get 160grams of protein in a day. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn!
