Trainer Spotlight: Meet Austin!

pilates_copyWhy did you decide to become a trainer at Studio 6 Fitness?
I began training at Studio 6 because I not only loved the workout on the megaformer with the Lagree Method, but also the principals and ideas that Studio 6 promotes. Studio 6 embodies a safe, intense, fun and friendly atmosphere that I have not before seen in any other fitness studio.

Favorite Megaformer exercise?
My all-time favorite move on the megaformer is the Mega Donkey Kick. I love incorporating it in my own workouts as well as training others because it is so versatile with mulitiple layers of intensity. It is also a great move for transitions.

Any must-haves on your playlist?
Pink is a must-have on my play-list but Rihanna runs a very close second.

What’s your favorite post-workout snack?
My go-to snack is Justin’s natural almond butter honey packet or a green smoothie.

Aside from teaching at Studio 6, what is your favorite thing to do?
Other than training clients, I love hiking and camping out around the country and overseas.
