Michelle Davis, marketing director for The Shops at Park Lane, says Studio 6, a pilates/ballet barre/yoga studio, will open up a studio in the center sometime “mid-summer… on the plaza level where Whole Foods is,” in suite 343.
Preston Hollow resident Elizabeth Lindberg opened Studio 6 on Preston and Forest in 2012. Lindberg, who is the owner and a trainer at the studio as well, has lived in Preston Hollow for 20 years and is active in the Junior League, Preston Hollow Women’s Club and children’s organizations.
Originally named PilatesBarre, her studio relaunched as Studio 6 last summer, adding yoga and ballet barre classes to its pilates-based repertoire. The upcoming Shops at Park Lane Studio 6 marks the second location for the concept.
You may recall that original plans for The Shops at Park Lane included space for a 90,000-square-foot fitness center. Since then, according to the Dallas Business Journal, developers have “re-skinned” the existing vacant fitness center and plan to lease it as office space once current expansion efforts are complete.

“We are very excited about the location and are hoping to also provide yoga and other workouts in the ‘park’ to support community activities there as well,” Lindberg says.
