Studio 6 Fitness was founded in 2012 by Elizabeth Lindberg, a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and Preston Hollow resident of 20 years. As past President of the College of Business and UT Business Commencement speaker, Elizabeth started her professional career in Wall Street with Morgan Stanley in Corporate Finance Investment Banking and worked in New York, London, Singapore and LA before making her home in Dallas to raise a family in Preston Hollow. An avid tennis player and fitness enthusiast, Elizabeth fell in love with pilates on the Megaformer after having twins and trying to become strong after the difficulty pregnancy and mandatory 9 weeks of bedrest. Elizabeth quickly became addicted to the low impact pilates movements on the Megaformer and the fat-burning cardio and strength training that Lagree workouts provided so efficiently — all less than an hour. Wanting to share her love and passion of the Megaformer, Elizabeth trained directly with Sebastian Lagree, founder and celebrity trainer in Los Angeles.
After her training in Hollywood, Elizabeth toured the Lagree manufacturing site in Burbank and knew she wanted to bring the revolutionary workout and Megaformers back to Dallas.
In the Fall of 2012 Elizabeth opened her first location in Preston Hollow at the northwest corner of Preston and Forest Lane and became the largest Lagree studio in Texas with 14 Megaformers. Since then Studio 6 Fitness has expanded to open it’s second location at The Shops at Park Lane, upstairs by Whole Foods with plans to open more locations. Studio 6 Fitness remains the largest Lagree Fitness studio in Texas and the only studio in Dallas offering the patented Megaformer and Lagree workouts.
